Preschool Teacher Position

The Chelsea Children’s Cooperative Preschool is looking for an individual who enjoys working with children and families in a preschool setting.

We are offering a part-time Lead Teacher position for the Morning 4/5s Class, which meets M/Tu/W/Th mornings from 8:15 - 11 from September through May.

The job includes planning and teaching a home-grown curriculum, focusing on children’s emotional and social well-being and growth, regular communication with preschool parents, maintaining a developmentally appropriate preschool classroom, and overseeing preschool events.

One of the many perks include working with caring adults, both teachers and parents, who are focused on bringing meaningful and joyful learning experiences to preschool children.

The school will reimburse associated costs for eligibility requirements, 16 hours of professional development per calendar year, and membership to the MiAEYC.
